Who am I?

I was born and raised in the Swedish-speaking parts of Finland and spent many years working within Finland’s school system—consistently ranked among the best in the world—before moving to Sweden in 2020. With over 20 years of experience in education, I have worked as a teaching assistant, class teacher, special education teacher and principal in Finland and Sweden. My driving force has always been the same: to design learning that is accessible, motivating, and genuinely fun.

Along the way, I have created several learning products—Läroteket, Upptäckarna, and BROAR—that are now used in schools across the Nordics. I have lectured for teachers and parents, been featured in media and was nominated for Finland’s “Everyday Hero” award in 2020 for my approach to remote teaching during the pandemic. Since 2018, I have also worked as a creative consultant for the Grej of the Day concept, which is now spreading globally.

Today I serve as a principal in Uppsala, but my heart beats for large-scale pedagogical innovation, pioneering bold ideas and building sustainable solutions for the future of learning. I love digital tinkering: experimenting with prototypes, exploring interaction patterns and iterating to see what truly resonates. With strong digital fluency and growing experience in AI powered process. I am curious about how emerging technologies can transform learning—making it more personal, inclusive and impactful.

Beyond my professional work, I am also the proud mother of Isa, 12 years old girl, who reminds me daily why the work of reimagining education truly matters.
